We booked a cabana with butler service, started the day with a couples massage, rotated between hot/cold plunges like pros, and headed back for naptime… only to find a room filled with balloons.

I don’t think I’ve felt this celebrated since I was a kid. And honestly? That’s the energy I want to carry into this next year

While we loved the breezy, open-air dining at the resort, a short walk to Sunshine’s Nevis is a must. Come for the Killer Bee, stay for the surprisingly great fish. Unassuming, a little rowdy, and very worth it.

• Kids towels/robes, cookies spelling their names, and a stuffy on arrival.
• Did I mention the kids’ club is included… and kids under 5 eat free; menus tailored for little eaters in all resort restaurants.
• We spent so much time at the Calypso Pool + Splash Pad where my 2-year old was living his best life.

The monkey-spotting golf-cart safari was a highlight for all of us. Maybe we had a little too much fun. And we saved the Catamaran cruise for our last day – Stella’s first snorkel, and our favorite day on the water.
